A Brief History of Reflexology

Reflexology is a respected healing practice with a history that extends back thousands of years, originating in ancient Egypt, China, and India. This therapy is founded on the principle that specific points on the feet, hands, and ears correspond to organs and systems within the body. By applying targeted pressure to these reflex points, practitioners aim to facilitate relaxation, enhance circulation, and promote overall well-being. In contemporary practice, reflexology is recognized as a valuable complementary therapy, assisting individuals in managing stress and supporting their health naturally.
